Autodesk MoU implements with the Directorate of Vocational Development of Indonesia

Along with the development of the curriculum in Vocational High Schools (SMK), the largest graphic company Autodesk is now collaborating with the Directorate of Vocational Development of Indonesia by providing graphic software support for more than 10,000 SMKs spread throughout Indonesia for free. Support for this collaboration is also realized through training collaborations for 33 teachers from 33 provinces in Indonesia. The signing of the agreement was carried out by the Director of Vocational Development, Ir. Anang Tjahyono and George Abraham, as Head of Education, Worldwide Emerging Markets, Autodesk.

In his presentation, Ir. Anang said, “Cooperation in the use of this Autodesk graphics software will make students massive for further learning”. This cooperation program is also carried out outside Indonesia, such as the countries of Kazakhstan, Russia, Taiwan, Turkey and Ukraine which also receive software grants made by Autodesk. Recently, Autodesk has also provided 3D design software to educational institutions in Indonesia to help train students in 3D design, mechanical engineering, and entertainment on the latest software for elementary and junior high schools.

In addition, Autodesk also stated its commitment to continue to support the young generation of architects, engineers, designers and digital artists who will come in Indonesia. Furthermore, George Abraham stated that, “Indonesia is a country with the largest population, so it is an honor to be able to cooperate with Indonesia in the field of education in general”. With this grant, it is hoped that the young generation of Indonesia can continue to work and become entrepreneurs so that they become creative and full of innovation individuals.
