Description
An intermediate-level course focused on raster data processing and surface/terrain analysis (DEM/DTM). Participants will learn image georeferencing, satellite imagery band composition, raster cropping & mosaicking, surface interpolation (gridding), contour generation, cross-section path profile analysis, cut-and-fill volume calculations, and foundational hydrological/watershed modeling.
Requirement
•  Completion of Global Mapper Essential or basic GIS experience
•  Global Mapper software is already installed
•  Sample elevation data (DEM) & raster imagery prepared
